What Happens On The Day

Right here at Newby Hall – 4 great firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies compete against each other with a 10-minute spectacular firework display choreographed to music followed by a breath-taking, huge finale display. The types of fireworks being used by the companies are unlike any material used for fireworks available to the general public, each company uses category 4 fireworks, which are only for professional use and the biggest available in the UK.

After gazing at the illuminating fireworks and lasers, watching all the teams battle for the Fireworks Champions title, the audience has all the power in their hands (through their mobile phone) to decide the winner. How exciting! Texts will be charged at normal rates and a limit of 1 vote per number is in place. Each voting number receives a text back with the results.

The Fireworkers are delighted to be asked to perform at Firework Champions again in 2025, we are a family business established over 16 years ago by Steve and Sally Bates, working alongside our dedicated crew, we are a true firework family, our three sons have grown up with our business and all now work at The Fireworkers in varying roles. We are loyal fans of Firework Champions and thank MLE for asking us to return and compete again in 2025.

At The Fireworkers, we all work together to support each other and the team, it will be Sally & Steve who will be designing the show putting their passion for design and show production into the display at firework champions, but our whole team have their own input into the display music and design. Our team thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere, camaraderie and friendliness of the Firework Champions weekend, we have been really pleased with our performance. At Newby Hall, we will be hoping to build on our experience and produce a quality, enjoyable show, using dynamic effects and powerful recognisable music, we will be working hard to win your vote!

Over the years we have performed thousands of displays, both nationally and internationally, we specialise in start up displays, and work alongside our clients to ensure a successful and profitable event. Our company is constantly evolving, we now facilitate public displays ourselves as well as always delivering a great display for our customers . Over the years we have competed at the British Musical Firework Championships, The British Firework Championships, Firework Champions, assisted with displays overseas and delivered displays for high profile customers such as MKM and the Rod Stewart tour. We are always striving to produce displays that excel year on year.

Our show at Newby Hall will be fired using FireOne Firing System, also using Cobra Firing System for some elements, it is our standard practice to combine firing systems although this is unusual for most.

Imperial Lotus Southeast is a company based in the South of England with 20+ years of expertise, backed with history as well as Winners of the 2023 British Musical Fireworks Championships in Southport, Winners at Eastnor Castle 2024 and we will be competing at the British Musical Fireworks Championships Champion of Champions 2025. We believe in delivering exceptional service and a personalised experience for whatever the client's occasion may be.

Imperial Lotus Southeast have not only exhibited their pyrotechnic art across the whole of the UK, but Internationally they have been fundamental in display delivery in Malta, Italy, France and Spain. We have also visited factories in Japan and China which has helped us import our own products. Past clients for whom we have organised displays include: Reading & Leeds Festival, Celebrity Big Brother, Highclere Castle, Lulworth Castle, Sony, Samsung, The Bank of England, Thorpe Park’s Fright Night, Swindon Speedway (World Championship).

We have also performed displays for famous Celebrities around the UK. Imperial Lotus Southeast covers most, if not all areas within the industry. All our displays use the trusted Fireone firing system, accompanied with Finale 3D software which is used around the world. This gives us an opportunity to show off our creativity but, more importantly, provides us with the reliability and flexability that is absolutely crucial in this industry.

Drive

Newby Hall is just off the B6265 between Ripon and Boroughbridge, a few miles from the A1(M). From the north use J48, from the south use J48 and follow the brown tourist signs to our entrance gates in the village of Skelton on Ure.
If you are following Sat Nav please type in postcode HG4 5AJ, which is different to the postcode in our address.
