Drive

Eastnor lies between the Cotswolds and the Welsh Marches. The Castle is 2½ miles east of Ledbury on the A438 Tewkesbury Road.

Journey Times to Eastnor

Central London 2½ hours, Manchester 2 hours, Birmingham 1 hour Bristol 1 hour Cardiff 1 hour.

For Visitors using a sat nav, please bear in mind that the map may not be up to date, so please ignore the directions as you approach Eastnor and Clenchers Mill Lane and follow the Brown Tourist signs. This is because a number of sat nav providers are currently directing you the wrong way.

Directions from London

Take M4 West.

Exit M4 at junction 15 (Swindon).

Follow A419/A417 to Cirencester and Gloucester (Dual Carriageway).

Before Gloucester exit A417 onto M5 North (towards Birmingham) at junction 11A and continue as if from North or South.

Directions from North or South

Exit M5 at junction 8 onto M50.

Exit M50 at junction 2 Follow A417 to Ledbury.

Follow the Brown Tourist signs (Eastnor Castle) via bypass and through Ledbury Town Centre onto A449 (signed Worcester and Malvern).

After 1 mile turn right again onto A438 (signed Tewkesbury and Eastnor), and the entrance to Castle is after 1 mile on the right hand side.

Nearest Train Stations

Ledbury – 2 miles (Direct train from/to London Paddington – duration 2.45hrs)

Great Malvern – 8 miles (Direct train from/to London Paddington – duration 2.30hrs)

Gloucester – 19 miles (Direct train from/to London Paddington – duration 1.50hrs)

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR VISIT

Parking & camping.

Parking

General parking is free with your admission tickets. Follow the stewards’ directions, park and walk into the audience area.

Park & Stay is available here: one vehicle permit covers the car, with separate admission tickets required for each adult and child aged 5–16. Gazebos cannot be used in Park & Stay bays.

Camping

Friday and Saturday camping is offered at this venue, with campsite entry from 1pm on the booked arrival day. Tents, caravans and campervans are welcome. Each adult needs a camping permit as well as event admission; children up to 16 camp free but those aged 5–16 still need event admission.

Portable toilets and drinking water are provided. There are no showers or electric hookups. Park beside your pitch and head to the audience area to watch the fireworks. Please leave by 1pm the following day.

EVERYONE’S NIGHT OUT

Access & support.

These are outdoor events on estate grounds, where surfaces can be uneven. Disabled parking and accessible toilets are provided. Please contact the team before booking to discuss your needs; accommodation requests should be made at least three weeks before the event where possible.

BEFORE YOU GO

A few good answers.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes, there are no restrictions on the food and beverages you bring, except for BBQs, which are strictly forbidden.

Will the fireworks be cancelled if it rains?

No. The fireworks are waterproof and aren’t affected by the rain. Timings are subject to change on the evening. The drone show is a complimentary element that is not guaranteed with no prior warning.

Do I need a camping ticket per adult?

Yes for each adult camping you will need a camping permit.  Children up to 16 years old are no extra cost for camping.

Also you will require normal entry tickets for each adult and child (Children under 5 are free).

Can I bring a gazebo if I’m in the drive-in?

No – the view will be obstructed by those behind you.

Park & Stay is not available at Arley Hall.

I have lost my tickets, what should I do?

I have a disability – is it suitable?

Accessibility / Disablity statement:

We value inclusion and access for all participants and are pleased to provide reasonable accommodations for this event. Please contact mail@mlepyrotechnics.co.uk to make a reasonable accommodation request. Requests must be submitted 3 weeks prior to the event date although we’ll always do our best to accommodate. Please note the event takes place in an open field but we have people with disabilities attending without any issue. We have a disabled car park area as close as possible to the event and disabled toilets. You also could take advantage of the drive-in parking. If you wish to book tickets please inform us by email prior to booking tickets.

What is Park & Stay?

Park in a designated bay within the audience arena and watch the fireworks from or beside your car.

Standard parking is free. If you’re happy to park and walk to the arena, you don’t need a Park & Stay permit.
